First of all let me start by thanking you for visiting my site. Growing up I never dreamed of owning my own business. When I gave birth to my daughter a little over two years ago, my husband and I decided the best thing for the first year of her life was for me to stay home. Not many people get that opportunity, I realize how extremely blessed I was to be able to do that. About nine months after our daughter was born my husbands job relocated us to Northern California. We both were born and raised in Southern California so it was a huge move for us. When our daughter turned one I started looking for work. I found a full time job pretty quickly and we began our new routine. After just a few days of working full time I missed our daughter like crazy. As I struggled with the reality of not being a stay at home mom anymore my husband could tell that I was unhappy. I truly believe everything happens for a reason and after only a couple months working full time I got laid off. My husband being the amazing person he is, told me to take a break, go back to staying home and taking care of our daughter and take some time to decide what a good "balance" would be for me. I had been doing bookkeeping for my cousin and aunt for over a year on the side and had really enjoyed it. After being a stay at home mom for couple weeks again and enjoying every second of it, I realized I needed to do something for me. Don't get me wrong I wouldn't trade anything in the world for being able to be a stay at home mom and I know how extremely blessed I am to have that opportunity. That's when it hit me work from home! It's the perfect balance for me and my family. I get to spend all the time in the world with my daughter and watch her grow up everyday, but I also get to help people organize, manage, and make their everyday tasks easier so they to can spend time at home with their families, which is something I am truly passionate about. As I sit here tonight in my home office having just finished up some work for a client and writing my first blog, I am so thankful. I have amazing husband and provider who said "go for it" when I told him about starting my own business and I got to spend a great day with my daughter teaching, loving and watching her grow. I am truly grateful that I finally found my "balance!"
